Year 7 students are enjoying marine life exploration days, as part of their outdoor learning programme.

Students are spending a day at the beach, learning about mangroves, how to snorkel and how to identify the different coral and fish species. Activities have taken place at Hoi Ha Beach near Sai Kung and Kiu Tsui Island.

They are also being taught about water safety and risks and hazards at the beach, taking part in games to learn how to take care of themselves and others when outdoors.

The excursions have been designed by our outdoor educators, who are providing Year 7s with a diverse range of different opportunities to safely enjoy the outdoors, as part of their training to become happy, confident, intelligent warriors.

All of the activities are aimed at helping them to develop the key skills of confidence and resilience which are central to our approaches.
